Michael Hwang, PT. DPT, CSCS

Dr. Hwang received his Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from the University of California Berkeley in 2012. He then obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California in 2022.

In 2023, Dr. Hwang completed his Orthopaedic Clinical Residency at Mass General Brigham in Boston and is currently completing his Lower Quarter Fellowship at MPI as well as the Sports Fellowship at Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Hwang is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy.

In addition to his work as a Physical Therapist, Dr. Hwang has coached weightlifting and powerlifting at a national level as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2014 and continues to be an active member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
