Cycling Analysis

Cycling analysis is a comprehensive biomechanical evaluation of how your body moves while riding. It is designed to identify movement patterns that contribute to pain, inefficient pedaling mechanics, reduced power output, and overuse injuries. Whether you are a recreational cyclist, endurance rider, or competitive racer, a cycling analysis can help optimize comfort, performance, and prevention injury.

Many cycling-related injuries including knee pain, low back pain, hip pain, neck pain, and foot discomfort are associated with repetitive loading and inefficient movement patterns. At Movement Performance Institute (MPI), we use high-speed video to objectively measure your joint motions and pedaling mechanics. Unlike a traditional bike fit, which primarily focuses on bicycle positioning, our evaluation examines the interaction between your body and your bike to identify the underlying movement impairments that influence your cycling mechanics.

Cycling Analysis

Following your evaluation, you will receive a written report explaining your findings, along with individualized recommendations that may include bike fit modifications. strength and mobility exercises, flexibility training, or other interventions designed to improve comfort, efficiency, and performance.
